Join the Little's in a Celebration of Art
The Burnham Library on Main Street in Bridgewater is exhibiting art by a father and daughter, Edward and Sara Little, through May.
The show is the culmination of Sara's senior project at Shepaug Valley High School in Washington.
Up until this year, Sara had been a self-taught artist who focused mainly on drawing stylized characters. For her senior project she learned to draw and paint realistically with help from her father and artist/illustrator Charles Gehm.
Earlier this year she focused on the skills and techniques required to render a 3D image on a 2D surface using graphite and pastel pencils and later applied those skills to oil painting.
Currently she has incorporated the theme of Venetian masks and the study of the human figure into her art.
